KVC Staff Help with the Greenbrier Classic Golf Tournament
During the week of June 29, KVC staff traveled to White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia to take part in the Greenbrier Classic, a prestigious golf tournament featuring golfers such as Tiger Woods, Davis Love III, and John Daly. KVC staff volunteered on the links and during the Classic Concert series, which featured performances by The Band Perry, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, and Blake Shelton.
Our staff endured treacherous weather and mud, but a great time was had by all! Staff worked 42 shifts and KVC will receive a small portion of the concession profits. These funds will help children in foster care receive back-to-school supplies and holiday gifts as well as participate in extracurricular activities.
