Join Our Holiday Heroes Program
Be a Holiday Hero for kids in foster care!
Start a new tradition and make this holiday season one to remember! KVC serves hundreds of youth in foster care and they’re each full of unique dreams this holiday season. With your help, we can make their dreams a reality.
KVC West Virginia has collected and provided gifts to children in foster care for over 10 years. Because of our incredible Holiday Heroes, we were able to purchase gifts for nearly 200 families and 1,000 children in foster care last year.
Children who find themselves in foster care are victims of abuse, neglect or other family challenges. While our foster families provide so much love and care to the children and teens they serve, as well as a safe place to live, it can be difficult to provide “extra” items like presents during the holidays. Becoming a Holiday Hero is a rewarding way for you to show these kids how special they are!
Anyone can be a Holiday Hero – individuals, families, churches, community organizations, or businesses. Simply choose how you’d like to donate from the options below and donate new, unwrapped gifts to youth in foster care by December 9, 2022.
