Join Our Holiday Heroes Program
This year, start a NEW tradition!
2020 has been everything BUT normal. Back in March, the COVID-19 pandemic rapidly changed the way we live our daily lives, and disrupted, rescheduled and even canceled normal traditions like graduation ceremonies, vacations and holiday celebrations. This upcoming holiday season will surely look different from years past, and that makes it the perfect time to begin NEW traditions!
This holiday season, start a new tradition and give back to your community with our Holiday Heroes program! Holiday Heroes can be individuals, families, churches, community organizations or businesses.
Children who find themselves in foster care are victims of abuse, neglect or other family challenges. While our foster families provide so much love and care to the children and teens they serve, as well as a safe place to live, it can be difficult to provide “extra” items like presents during the holidays. Providing gifts is one way you can support foster families and show children that they matter.
KVC West Virginia has collected and provided gifts to children in foster care for over 10 years. Last year, we were able to purchase gifts for nearly 200 families and 1,000 children in foster care. Join us in making the holiday season special for these children in need!
