KVC’s Resource Foster Parent Conference will be taking place on April 25-26 at the beautiful Glade Springs Resort in Daniels, West Virginia. KVC West Virginia is pleased to welcome KVC Kentucky staff, foster parents, and children to join us for the conference again this year. This conference boasts over 400 registrants and will offer trainings for parents and fun activities for children! KVC is also excited to welcome their own afternoon keynote speaker, Mr. Mike Veny. Mr. Veny hails from New York and will be bringing his message about his own personal struggles and how he has overcome them with the power of music. In addition to training, the resort will offer a number of family activities, including swimming, bowling, a bonfire and outdoor movie, and a marshmallow roast. KVC is looking forward to another successful Resource Foster Parent Conference!
KVC West Virginia continues to make a positive difference in the lives of hundreds of West Virginia children and families.
Spotlight on Providers
In this section, we profile KVC staff and partners who are making a difference.
Each year, we recognize one family as the KVC Resource Parents of the Year.
How To Become A Foster Parent
Each year, hundreds of local children are removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect or other challenges. These kids and teenagers need the support of a caring foster family.
How To Become An Adoptive Parent
KVC West Virginia helps match children in foster care with loving forever families through adoption. We work exclusively with children that are placed through the Department of Health and Human Resources
