KVC’s Resource Family Conference is a one-of-a-kind training opportunity for foster families who are caring for children who have experienced abuse, neglect or other family challenges, and are temporarily in state custody.
KVC West Virginia will host the Resource Family Conference on December 11-12 at Glade Springs Resort in Daniels, WV.
KVC West Virginia is in the beginning stages of implementing Safe at Home West Virginia, an initiative to bring children and youth in out-of-home care back to a family setting with relatives, foster or adoptive families. Learn more about the 10 Wraparound Principles put forth by the National Wraparound Initiative and how they play a role in this new initiative.
By providing wraparound services to children, the state’s goal is to help children living in congregate care settings to safely return to their home communities and ultimately to their own families.
