KVC West Virginia (KVC) will open its new Martinsburg office on July 15, 2022. To celebrate the child and family services newly available throughout the Eastern Panhandle, KVC invites community members, child welfare and mental health professionals to a grand opening event on July 15 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at 261 Aikens Center, Suite 304, Martinsburg, West Virginia 25404.

Event activities include speeches from KVC leaders, a ribbon cutting ceremony, an open house in KVC’s new office, networking, and food and refreshments from Nucilli’s BBQ. Attendees will also meet local KVC team members providing child welfare and mental health services in the Eastern Panhandle.

“Our Martinsburg office grand opening marks a major step in increasing access to mental health and trauma-informed services throughout West Virginia,” said Brent Lemon, KVC West Virginia President.

KVC also announces a partnership with Aetna Better Health of West Virginia to fund vital in-home Medicaid behavioral health services for children in the Eastern Panhandle. In-home services are an important part of keeping families safely together and reducing the need for out-of-home care.

“We invite anyone interested in learning more about KVC’s youth mental health programs, family support services, or foster parenting to join us on July 15,” said Sarah Marshall, KVC West Virginia Eastern Panhandle Regional Director.

People interested in attending KVC West Virginia’s Martinsburg grand opening should RSVP at kvcwv.org/martinsburg.
