KVC’s Resource Family Conference is a one-of-a-kind training opportunity for foster families who are caring for children who have experienced abuse, neglect or other family challenges, and are temporarily in state custody.
Our foster parents work hard to care for the youth in their homes. Sometimes this leads to physical, emotional and mental exhaustion, otherwise known as "burnout." This training will review why burnout happens and how foster families can prevent it.
Are you ready to make a profound impact on a child's life? Whether you're just beginning to explore fostering or are ready to take the next step, join KVC West Virginia and local child-placing agencies for a community-focused day of connection, conversation, and community building.
