About KVC West Virginia
KVC West Virginia is a private, nonprofit organization that serves over 3,000 children, teens and adults each year. Our team of caring professionals provides home- and community-based services that strengthen families and prevent foster care, outpatient mental health therapy, foster care, foster parent recruitment and support, adoption, and youth academic and mentorship programs.
We envision a world in which every person is safe and connected to a strong family and a healthy community.

More than 6,000 West Virginia children and teens need foster families to open their hearts and homes. It only takes ONE caring adult to change a child’s life. How about you?
Become a foster parent to offer care, safety and love to children in your community. Attend KVC’s free virtual open house to learn about the requirements you must meet and the training classes you’ll need to complete to become a foster parent. Plus get info about the 24/7 support KVC provides once you’re licensed.
