About KVC West Virginia
KVC West Virginia is a private, nonprofit organization that serves over 3,000 children, teens and adults each year. Our team of caring professionals provides home- and community-based services that strengthen families and prevent foster care, outpatient mental health therapy, foster care, foster parent recruitment and support, adoption, and youth academic and mentorship programs.
We envision a world in which every person is safe and connected to a strong family and a healthy community.

Training Title: PRIDE Session 7 & 8: Continuing Family Relationships & Planning for Change
Training Date and Time: November 29, 2021, 6:00 to 8:00pm
Training Description: In this training, participants will learn about the importance of permanence, and the importance of supporting a youth’s connections to their biological family and previous foster parents. They will also learn about the adoption process, and the impact fostering and adoption may have on their family.
KVC West Virginia offers this virtual course at no cost to non-KVC staff and potential or current KVC foster parents (you!).
