About KVC West Virginia
KVC West Virginia is a private, nonprofit organization that serves over 3,000 children, teens and adults each year. Our team of caring professionals provides home- and community-based services that strengthen families and prevent foster care, outpatient mental health therapy, foster care, foster parent recruitment and support, adoption, and youth academic and mentorship programs.
We envision a world in which every person is safe and connected to a strong family and a healthy community.

First Star Academy Tech Talk with Jeff Stibel
Join First Star and Jeff Stibel for our March Tech Talk!
Saturday, March 26th, 12 p.m. ESTJoin First Star and Jeff Stibel, brain scientist and founding partner of Bryant Stibel and Stibel & Company, for our March Tech Talk!Stibel received his undergraduate degree in psychology, philosophy, and cognitive science from Tufts University, and his graduate degree from Brown University, where he was the recipient of a Brain and Behavior Fellowship while studying for a PhD. Stibel also spent time as a visiting fellow at MIT and received an honorary doctorate from Pepperdine University. He is currently on the board of directors of LegalZoom, MyFitnessPal, the Stibel Dennett Brain Science Consortium at Tufts University, and the Natural History Museum.Immediately following the Tech Talk, we will premiere our robotic hand STEAM lab with STEAM Forward Academy!
