Eastern Panhandle First Anniversary Celebration

Empowering Families & Building Futures
Help us celebrate our first anniversary in the Eastern Panhandle! We invite social workers, mental health professionals, teachers, community partners, government officials, and parents and caregivers to join us on June 15 from 3-6pm. We’re offering a free training on raising kids in a digital world (2 free CEUs available!), a refreshing ice cream social with lots of tasty toppings, and an opportunity to learn about KVC’s child and family services.
We’ll also share information on how caring adults can become foster parents. Did you know more than 6,000 children and teens in West Virginia are experiencing foster care? As a foster parent, you will provide a safe, supportive home for youth who have endured abuse, neglect or other family challenges. It only takes one caring adult to change a child’s life. How about you?
This event is the perfect opportunity to gain valuable knowledge, make exciting connections and enjoy a delicious treat. We hope to see you!
