Dealing with Burnout, Compassion Fatigue, and Vicarious Trauma Training (2 CEUs)

October 21 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Burned matches in a row on a blue background.

Are you feeling burned out at work? You’re not alone. According to Deloitte’s marketplace survey on burnout, 77% of respondents say they have experienced burnout at their current job, with more than half citing more than one occurrence. To make matters worse, the COVID-19 pandemic both exacerbates the pre-existing causes of burnout and adds its own stressors.

To counter this problem, KVC is offering a virtual “Dealing with Burnout, Compassion Fatigue, and Vicarious Trauma” training designed specifically for our partners in the behavioral healthcare industry.

In this training, Erin Keltner, MSW, LICSW, KVC West Virginia’s Vice President of Clinical Services, will discuss:

  • the definitions for burnout and compassion fatigue,
  • how to identify signs and triggers,
  • the effect of burnout on employees and employers, and
  • identify factors and strategies for combatting burnout and compassion fatigue.

You will receive two CEUs for your participation.
