SUMMARY:Ethics for Social Workers Training (Earn 2 CEUs)
DESCRIPTION:Ethics training is an integral part of ensuring that social workers and helping professionals uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and provide ethical\, compassionate\, and effective services to their clients. The aim of this ethics training is to help professionals identify\, understand and navigate ethical dilemmas that may arise in their practice. \nOur experienced trainer uses a combination of interactive activities\, case studies\, and real-life examples to help attendees navigate complex ethical situations and make ethical decisions with confidence. Attendees who participate in the full training will receive 2 CEUs. \nIn this training\, Erin Keltner\, LCSW\, LICSW\, KVC West Virginia’s Vice President of Clinical Services\, will discuss: \n\nThe Code of Ethics as explained by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW)\nProfessional and personal boundaries in the workplace\nConfidentiality and communication\nImportance and benefits of teamwork\n\n*CEUs are valid for individuals in West Virginia who have a social work license or are licensed professional counselors (LPC).\nRegister for the training here.\nMeet the Presenter\nErin Keltner\, LCSW\, LICSW \nErin Keltner is Vice President of Clinical Services at KVC West Virginia\, where she oversees all clinical services and manages all organizational outcomes and quality assurance efforts. With over 20 years of experience\, she has held many roles in child welfare and mental health from direct care to leadership. Erin holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Kentucky and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Transylvania University.
